A TRIP THROUGH 1930s GERMANY * with switchable English subtitles*

This almost-three-hour-long DVD contains films mainly made by amateurs -- though some professional work is included -- showing what the people, landscapes and culture of Germany was like during the 1930s, before the stupidity of the Second World War changed it all forever  (or did it?:  for those familiar with Germany, you will be astounded at how the efforts of those to rebuild from the ruins were successful in putting much back 'the way it was').  Incredibly interesting and wonderful pictures show what it was like to live under the Diktatur, but, at the same time, portray the country in so innocent and entertaining a way, you might find yourself wanting to book a trip to go there now!  Especially rare and insightful look at those areas no longer part of the country after 1945.  A MUST for anyone with an interest in the subject.

DVD-R is in German with switchable English subtitles. Approx. 180 mins. See film sample for audio and video quality!
