Sándor Móric grófról még manapság is beszélnek a nagy öregek. Ő volt az a lovas bravúrjairól híres fiatalember, aki haldokló apjához a Sándor palotába lépcsőn vágtatott fel. Közben átugratott Metternich Leontine hercegnő hintaja fölött, aki menten beleszeretett az Ördöglovasnak nevezett magyar nemesbe. Gondolhatják, a magyargyűlölő Metternich mennyire örült lánya választásának. 

Released four days prior to the German occupation of Hungary in March 1944, Ördöglovas is the story of a love affair between the Hungarian count Sandor Moric and the daughter of Chancellor Metternich of Austria.  The two first meet, when Sandor jumps over the woman's carriage with his horse, rushing to the bedside of his dying father.  That feat of sportsmanship is all it takes for the chancellor's daughter to fall in love with him ... and Metternich need only hear he's Hungarian to know straight off, that this love affair must be terminated at all costs.

DVD-R is in Hungarian with switchable English subtitles.  Approx. 78 mins. + a 17 min. contemporary German newsreel.  Some pixellization issues.
