The strong and deceitful magician Kataus the Red Beard attacks peaceful Russia. The only one who is able to stand in his way is the brave warrior Finist, known as the Brave Falcon. But Finist is overwhelmed in an ambush by Kataus' underling and turned into a monster.

In die russischen Lande fällt der starke und hinterlistige Zauberer Kataus Rotbart ein. Der einzige, der es mit ihm aufzunehmen vermag, ist der tapfere Recke Finist, genannt der helle Falke. Doch Finist gerät in einen Hinterhalt und wird in ein Ungeheuer verwandelt.
