It's 1941, and the British have captured Benghazi, (until then, an Italian-colonized city). Suffering under the boorish and, frankly, atrocity-laden, Allied occupation, the Italian inhabitants do their best to thwart their enemy's rule and ferret out Britain's military plans. However, one man, Captain Enrico Berti, seems to be collaborating with the occupiers. The reality is somewhat different though.
