Two thugs murder a man as he leaves a club. To escape the police, the man who pulled the trigger must enlist in the Army. Shortly after, war is declared, and unable to bear it any longer, the thug finds a newspaper boy drunk, beats him up, and dresses him in his military uniform. The police find the newspaper boy unconscious and, mistaking him for a defector, force him back into the army.
