At the end of the 1930s, Libera, the daughter of an anarchist exiled by the Fascists, protests, challenges, and fights against the fascist regime. Together with her family, she is persecuted and helps the Resistance. At the end of the Second World War, she continues to protest against the presence of former Fascists in the public administration.

Alla fine degli anni '30, Libera, figlia di un anarchico esiliato dal fascismo a Ustica, interpretato da Adolfo Celi, contesta, protesta, lotta contro il regime fascista. Insieme alla famiglia, viene perseguitata dal regime ed aiuta la Resistenza. Alla fine della Seconda guerra mondiale, continua a protestare contro la presenza di ex gerarchi nella pubblica amministrazione.
