Fortsetzung von "Und ewig singen die Wälder". Nach dem Tod des alten Dag bewirtschaften der junge Dag und seine geliebte Frau Adelheid das Gut Björndal in den nordischen Wäldern. Doch die beschauliche Idylle wird getrübt, als der Großbauer die junge, durchtriebene Magd Gunvor einstellt. Dramatische Entwicklungen sind vorprogrammiert und nicht nur das Eheglück der Björndaler gerät in Gefahr.

Sequel to the film, Und ewig singen die Walder.  After the death of old Dag, Dag Jr. and his beloved wife Adelheid run the Bjorndal estate in the Nordic wilderness.  But this peaceful idyll is marred by the arrival of the young and scheming servant Gunvor.  Dramatic developments are inevitable and it will involve more than misfortune for the Bjorndalers’ marriage.
