Liane hat sich, enttäuscht von der Zivilisation, in den Urwald zurückgezogen. Sie lebt beim Stamm der Watu und ist nun dessen Königin. Wieder gelangt eine Expedition zu dem Stamm. Ein gewisser Frank bringt Nachricht von Thoren, dem Freund aus dem ersten Teil. Er soll Liane zu ihm bringen. Nach einigem Zögern gibt Liane nach, nimmt aber zwei Vertraute mit, Tanga und Ku-Lala. Das Flugzeug muss jedoch wegen Treibstoffmangels auf dem nächsten Flughafen notlanden. Dort bittet die Polizei darum, man möge den eben verhafteten Sklavenhändler Frazer im Flugzeug mitnehmen. Der bringt durch seine Überredungskünste Liane dazu, ihn zu befreien. Der begleitende Polizist wird erschossen. Frazer zwingt die Crew, im Dschungel zu landen.

Disappointed in what civilization had to offer her, Liane disappears back into the jungle.  She goes to live with the Watu tribe and becomes their queen.  Once again, an expedition succeeds in reaching the tribe.  A certain Frank brings news from Thoren, her friend from the first part of the series.  He’s to bring Liane to him.  After some hesitation, Liane agrees to go, but takes two confidants with her:  Tanga and Ku-Lala.  Due to poor maintenance practices by the soon-to-be-let-go ground crew, the plane runs out of gas and must make an emergency landing.  The police arrive and ask them to take a recently arrested slave dealer onboard.  He eventually convinces politically incorrect Liane to set him free.  The accompanying flatfoot is shot and Frazer, the slave dealer, forces the crew to land in the jungle.
