Der Immenhof ist ein kleines Ponygestüt in der Holsteinischen Schweiz. Hier lebt Oma Jantzen mit ihren Enkeltöchtern Dick, Dalli und Angela. Doch Oma Jantzen wird von Geldsorgen geplagt, da die Ponyzucht kaum Gewinn abwirft. Während der Sommerferien macht Ethelbert, der Cousin der Mädchen, Urlaub auf Immenhof. Während Angela nur Augen für den wohlhabenden Jochen von Roth hat, müssen Dick und Dalli sich notgedrungen um den überheblichen Städter Ethelbert kümmern. Erst als er ein verletztes Fohlen rettet, gewinnt der junge Mann den Respekt und die Sympathie seiner Cousinen. Derweil steht Oma Jantzen kurz davor, ihren geliebten Hof verkaufen zu müssen – da hat Jochen von Roth in letzter Minute eine rettende Idee ...

The Immenhof is a small pony stud farm in the Holstein Switzerland.  Grandma Jantzen lives here with her granddaughters Dick, Dalli and Angela.  But granny has money problems, which the income from the stud farm isn’t covering.  During the summer vacation months, Ethelbert --- the girls’ cousin --- vacations at the farm.  While Angela has the hots for the well-off Jochen von Roth, Dick and Dalli have to spend their summer looking after the arrogant boy from the city.  Only after he saves an injured foal does the young man with the respect and affection of his cousins.  In the meanwhile, grandma is about to lose her farm, when Jochen von Roth comes up with a bright idea at the last moment …
