Der in Japan aufgenommene Film mit einem einzigen deutschen Darsteller – alle anderen sind Japaner – spielt in Sportkreisen im japanischen Wintersportgebiet Hokkaido und geht auf die Vorbereitung der Olympischen Spiele ein, die 1940 in Japan stattfinden sollten. Durch den 2. Weltkrieg wurde dies verhindert.  

This film made in Japan and with a single German actor – all the rest are Japanese – plays out among the sports circles in the Japanese winter sports region of Hokkaido and concerns the preparations for the Olympic Games, which were supposed to be held in Japan in 1940.  The Second World War, however, thwarted that.
