Eva Prätorius ist erst 21 Jahre alt und schon geschieden. In einem Luxussanatorium führt sie ein gelangweiltes Leben. Im "Apollo-Theater" bewundert sie jeden Abend den Musikclown Quick, der zum Inhalt ihres Lebens wird. Sie will ihn unbedingt kennen lernen, doch als er ungeschminkt vor ihr steht, erkennt sie ihn nicht.

Eva Pratorius is only 21 years old and already divorced. She's now living a rather bored life in a luxury sanatorium. However, every night she goes to the Apollo Theatre, where she is a great admirer of the musical clown Quick. She absolutely must get to know him; but when he stands before her without makeup, she doesn't recognize him.

DVD-R IS IN GERMAN WITH switchable ENGLISH SUBTITLES. APPROX. 90 MINS. COMBINED TOTAL. EXCELLENT, DIGITAL QUALITY OVERALL.

JUST PURCHASED/WATCHED RECENTLY... VERY NEW TO GERMAN FILMS FROM WWII ERA SO ITS A BRAND NEW ADVENTURE...CAUGHT HANS ALBERS IN ANOTHER FILM AND AM NOW GETTING ONTO OTHER FILMS HE WAS IN.. THIS IS ONE OF HIS BEST, SO FAR...DVD QUALITY IS FINE, ETC. BUT THE REAL SCENE STEALER IN THIS FILM IS LILIAN HARVEY.. WHAT A DELIGHTFUL ACTRESS... (A GERMAN VERSION OF CAROLE LOMBARD....) THE SUPPORTING ACTOR IS EQUALLY FUNNY/TALENTED. NOTE: I WAS SURPRISED WHEN I SAW THE NAME OF 'ROBERT SIODNAK; LISTED AS THE DIRECTOR! AT SOME POINT HE MUST HAVE FLED GERMANY FOR HOLLYWOOD AND GONE ON TO DIRECT FILMS LIKE 'SON OF DRACULA STARRING LON CHANEY JR...AS WELL OF OTHERS FOR UNIVERSAL STUDIOS IN THE 40'S... ENJOYED THIS VERY FUNNY DELIGHTFUL/GOOFY COMEDY VERY MUCH!! .

Rather bizarre story of a girl who resides in a very strange sanatorium and is obsessed with a variety show performer.
Ok if you're a die-hard fan of either Lilian Harvey or Hans Albers, otherwise - pass.
