By pure chance, Jessie and his four jazz musicians are hired to play at the cabaret theatre “Trocadero”. Unfortunately, she knows nothing about music and it doesn’t help that all four musicians are in love with her. Jessie doesn’t reciprocate their feelings, because she has a thing for Martin. Unfortunately, Martin believes that Jessie stole his car … and so, right before the premiere at the cabaret, she ends up in jail.

Durch einen Zufall wird Jessie zusammen mit vier Jazz-Musikern ans Varieté-Theater "Trocadero" engagiert. Von Musik hat sie leider keine Ahnung, und auch, dass alle vier sich sofort in sie verlieben, sorgt bei den "Fünf von der Jazzband" für erhebliche Dissonanzen. Jessie ist an ihren Kollegen weniger interessiert, denn sie hat sich in Martin verknallt. Der allerdings meint, dass Jessie ihm das Auto geklaut hat – und so landet sie noch vor der Premiere im Knast.

Jenny Jugo bezaubert in ihrer unbekümmerten Art ihre Bandkollegen und der Film selbst den Zuschauer.
Fein, dass er erhältlich ist :)
