Nach erfolgloser Bemühung um ein Engagement als Revuetänzerin schlüpft eine Anfängerin zufällig in ein Kinderkleidchen und avanciert nunmehr zum Kinderstar der Revue, dieweil man ihre Schwester, eine Hutverkäuferin, für die Mutter hält.

After an unsuccessful effort to gain exposure as a chorus girl, the beginner accidentally slips into a child's dress and ends up becoming the child star of the revue, while her sister, a salesperson of hats, is mistaken for her mother.
