THE SIEGE OF SYRACUSE (1960):

During the Second Punic War, between 214 and 212 BCE, the Romans contemplate putting the Greek city of Syracuse to the siege. While they plan their attack, Archimedes invents a mirror, which will reflect the sun's rays and barbecue any attacker. Will his invention lead to the destruction of Rome's fleet and lots of well-cooked Italian sausage? Or will the Greek city on Sicily fall? Here's a hint: the Roman Empire comes after the glory of Greece in your children's history books.
