When the Ministry of Trade's attache, Dr. Dernburg, gets to know charming Charlotta Ramirez, a lady of German and Brazilian heritage, he falls in love with her on the spot. But before he can get to know her better, he has to meet her younger brother Ralf, who shares a bachelor pad with his buddy Charley. Ralf and Charley have gotten to know two pretty Swedes, whom they've invited to the apartment. But Ulla and Britta are actually two, well-brought-up girls, who show deep concerns about the guys' moral codes. So Ralf and Charley tell them that Charley's aunt from South America's visiting them, so they don't have to worry about any octopus hands during their visit. Unfortunately for them, Charley's aunt bails on them and so -- to make a favorable impression on Ralf, so he'll put in a good word for him with his sister -- Dr. Dernburg does drag and poses as the prudish relative.

Als Handelsattaché Dr. Dernburg die charmante Charlotta Ramirez kennenlernt, verliebt er sich auf der Stelle in die Deutsch-Brasilianerin. Bevor er sie jedoch näher kennenlernen kann, muß er seinen jüngeren Bruder Ralf besuchen, der sich mit seinem Freund Charley eine Junggesellenwohnung teilt. Ralf und Charley haben zwei hübsche Schwedinnen kennengelernt und sie in ihre Bude eingeladen. Den moralischen Bedenken der wohlerzogenen Ulla und Britta begegnen sie, indem sie den Besuch von Charleys Tante aus Südamerika ankündigen. Aber die Tante sagt kurzfristig ab - und so schlüpft Dr. Dernburg in Damenkleider und mimt als Charleys Tante den "Anstandswauwau".
