Vom Ruhm in den ersten Jahren bis hin zu ihrem tragischen Ende. Alfredo Codona heiratet die Luftakrobatin Lilian und verliert sie durch einen tödlichen Absturz bei einem Auftritt in Kopenhagen. Er heiratet wieder, diesmal seine Partnerin Vera.

This film is based on the true story of the artistic group, "The Three Codonas" and tells the story of the extraordinary lives of these three trapese artists at the beginning of the 20th Century. From the praise of their work in the first years to their tragic end. Alfredo Codona marries the acrobatress Lilian and loses her, when she suffers a fatal accident during a show in Copenhagen. He marries again; this time his partner Vera.
