Ein wahnsinniger Wissenschaftler ermordet seine Frau und mauert die Leiche im Keller seines Hauses ein. Die Polizei und der Reporter Briggs heften sich an seine Fersen und können ihn dingfest machen. Der Mörder wird in eine Nervenklinik gesperrt, wo es ihm jedoch gelingt, die Wachen zu überwältigen und einzusperren. Danach lässt er sämtliche Insassen frei und verwandelt die Anstalt in einen Selbstmörder-Club. 

A mad scientist kills his wife and cements the corpse into the walls of the cellar.  The police and the reporter Briggs stick closely to him and are able to make an arrest.  The murderer is put into a mental hospital; but he succeeds in overpowering the guards and locking them in his cell.  He then turns all the inmates loose and transforms the place into a Suicide Club.
