The vaudeville act "The Sparrow" consists of three girls and their manager, who is very much in love with them.  Many misunderstandings leading to many slapstick situations eventually lead to a desired outcome for the manager.

Die Varieté-Nummer "Die Spatzen" besteht aus drei Mädchen und ihrer Managerin, die in puncto Liebe ein scharfes Auge auf sie hat. Viele Missverständnisse, die Situationskomik geradezu herausfordern, münden schließlich darin, dass die "Spatzen" nebst Managerin unter die Haube kommen.
