Peu de temps avant la première guerre mondiale, au collège de Saint-Agil, des choses étranges se passent la nuit. Et des élèves commencent à disparaître... Beaume, Sorgue et Macroy, trois élèves du collège de Saint-Agil, ont créé une association secrète, Les Chiches Capons, dans le but de préparer un tout aussi secret projet de départ pour l'Amérique. Un soir, dans la salle de sciences naturelles, Sorgue voit un homme traverser un mur. Suite à une visite chez le directeur à propos d'un chahut, Sorgue disparaît. Puis c'est au tour de Macroy. L'établissement est en émoi. Lors une fête, Lemel, le professeur de dessin alcoolique, meurt victime d'une chute au moment où une panne de courant plonge l'établissement dans le noir. Tout le monde croit à un accident. Beaume décide d'enquêter, il choisit de disparaitre à son tour, et, avec l'aide de monsieur Walter le professeur d'anglais, il parvient à découvrir la vérité. 

Shortly before the outbreak of the First World War, at the College of St. Agil, strange things are happening at night.  Students are beginning to disappear.  Baume, Sorgue and MacRoy, three students at the college, creat a secret society, "The Cowardly Chickens", to prepare an equally secret plan to leave for America.  One evening, in the Hall of Natural Sciences, Sorgue sees a man through the wall.  Following a visit to the director about some ruckus, Sorgue disappears.  Then it's the turn of MacRoy.  The college is now in turmoil.  During a festival, Lemel, a professor, dies after a fall, when a power failure plunges the institution into darkness.  Everyone thinks it's an accident.  Baume decides to investigate and sets himself up to disappear as well.  With the help of Mr. Walter, an English teacher, he manages to find out the truth.

DVD-R is in French with switchable English subtitles.  Approx. 94 mins. + a 13 min. contemporary newsreel.  Excellent quality.
