Ein Heimatdrama wie aus einem Groschenroman, das seinerzeit als spannend galt.                         

The two vivacious daughter of a forester in East Prussia get into conflict over the estate inspector, because he not only is a characterless charmer, but also plays poacher in the lands between the Masurian Lakes … that is, until he sinks in the moor in just punishment.  A local drama like something right out of a dime novel, which was considered all the rage at the time.
