Die Fortsetzung des Erfolgfilms "Es muß nicht immer Kaviar sein" entstand ebenfalls nach einem Bestseller von Johannes Mario Simmel: Erneut gerät der Londoner Bankangestellte Thomas Lieven als Agent wider Willen in Abenteuer zwischen den Fronten der Geheimdienste und muss noch einmal zum Doppel- und Dreifachagenten werden, um seine Haut zu retten. Seine Abenteuer als britischer Rekrut in Gibraltar, als Sträfling in Lissabon und als SS-Führer in Paris gehen einher mit seinen amourösen Verwicklungen zwischen "seinen Damen" Françoise, Mimi und Vera.

The sequel to the hit film, “Es muss nicht immer Kaviar sein” is likewise based on the bestseller by Johannes Mario Simmel.  Once again, the London bank employee Thomas Lieven ends up as a secret agent between the fronts of the secret services and has to play a double-agent --- and even a triple-agent! – to save his life.  His adventures as a British recruit in Gibraltar, as a convict in Lisbon and an SS officer in Paris are accompanied by his rather amorous affairs between “his ladies”:  Francoise, Mimi and Vera.
