Letzter Teil der Mabuse-Reihe der 1960er Jahre, diesmal nach dem Muster der James-Bond-Filme, mit Peter van Eyck als Spezialagent Anders: Professor Pohland, dessen Gehirn von Dr. Mabuse beherrscht wird, wird entführt. Kurz vorher kann er noch ein einziges Wort äußern: "Todesstrahlen". Der britische Geheimdienst schickt Major Bob Anders nach Malta, wo Professor Larsen an "Operation Archimedes" arbeitet: Todesstrahlen, mit denen man aus dem Weltraum jede Stadt der Welt zerstören kann. Dr. Mabuse will sich mit seinen Froschmännern in den Besitz der Waffe setzen, um damit die Herrschaft über die Welt zu erlangen.  

The last part of the Mabuse series from the 1960s, this time taking its cue from the James Bond films, with Peter van Eyck as Special Agent Anders.  Professor Pohland, whose brain is being controlled by Dr. Mabuse, is kidnapped.  Shortly before, he’s able to spit out a single word:  death rays.  The British Secret Service sends Major Bob Anders to Malta, where Professor Larsen is working on “Operation Archimedes”:  Death rays, with which one can destroy any city in the world from outer space.  Dr. Mabuse sends out his frogmen to capture the weapon, thus taking control of the world.
